Wishford school celebrates Easter

At the end of term, the Open the Bible team joined staff, parents and pupils to walk through the Easter story from after Jesus' trial when he was given the crown of thorns (in the playground), processing to Golgotha (St Giles' churchyard), and then turning to face the tomb to find him risen on the third day.

Children took part in the action and we all sang Lord of the Dance. The children had also decorated the church's large wooden cross, which was subsequently fixed to the church gate. At the time of writing, it still looks magnificent, despite wind and rain!
